At the cross roads of civilisations, religions, weaving materials and techniques, Central Asia played a key role in the silk road and world trade. Discover how the ikats and Suzanis of Uzbekistan tell this amazing story.
Marie Tseng specialises in cross cultural facilitation and coaching for multinational corporations. In her spare time, she collaborates with Museum and cultural institutions as a guest curator, speaker and guide. She co-authored Sacred Ikat : from heirloom to trade, an exhibition catalogue on Indonesian and Sarawakian Ikats.
Anne Deguerry has been involved in textiles for more than 15 years, with NGO in the field of weaving and natural dyes. She was part of the organising committee of the International Festival Plants, Ecology and Colors, which took place in Antanarivo - Madagascar in May 2017.
